Seeds Update...

The Almighty Truth is now in the top 10 for the CFOX Seeds contest thanks to The Almighty Alliance (YOU!)... We won with 73% of the vote. Onwards to Round 3... when I get details I'll update you. In the meantime we're holding a meeting tomorrow night (Sat. June 11th) @ the Brickyard in Vancouver at 11:30pm. Come and be part of the solution!

The word is starting to spread... We just found out we're in the top 20 out of 500+ bands for the Seeds contest on 99.3 CFOX, so now we need your help. Check this pic from our last show...This was our second show with Brother Sitar on bass and the band is really becoming a vicious thrashing tight unit. The tunes are simply becoming heavier and heavier. Guess the truth always comes out... Thanks to Sean from SPM and Jamie from the Buffalo Club for booking us - we had a great time!

1st entry ever...

So this is the first entry in The Almighty Truth blog. I'm Doug Fury and I'm gonna let you into the belly of this band. First things first... Congratulations on following your instinct to come here. That instinct has brought you to the right place. The fact that you're reading this blog attests to your good taste and judgement. You're an individual with impeccable style and a discerning ear for quality. You are now one of The Almighty...

We're recording in our own studio called Fortissimo Sound. I'll get into more details about the studio later. The music is beginning to ooze out and grow into quite the ugly monster I'd always hoped it could be. I'm diggin' it.

Status thus far: 2 songs completed with vocals, ready to be mixed - 10 songs with instumentals done. Music will be coming very soon to the website... can't wait! Jamie Brother Sitar has been added into the fold on bass. He played his first show with Scotty and I at the Buffalo Club in Vancouver recently. The band slammed...

I'm gonna keep this short since it's the very first Almighty Truth blog, I'll talk again very soon.
